A Bit About Me

Amelia Stewart Travel specialises in journeys for the curious; for both tailor made and small groups principally in the Middle East, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

A formative childhood school trip to the Sinai desert sparked a passion for the desert and she’s never looked back. She has spent most of the past 20 plus years guiding small groups of discerning travellers to off the beaten track destinations in an endless quest to find the perfect picnic spot. Areas of outstanding natural beauty, excellent guides and plenty of time to take it all in are key elements of her tours. In the past she has run a successful travel company specialising in Libya, Iran, Algeria and Syria and has more recently been a Brand Ambassador for a UK based luxury tour operator.   She was named a Conde Nast Traveller specialist for Georgia in 2019. 

Amelia's journeys are creative and fun and she occasionally flits through London when not sampling grape juice in Georgia.
